LASER HAIR REMOVAL COOLGLIDE HAIR REMOVAL
Lasers are well suited for unwanted hair removal, one of the most popular laser-based aesthetic procedures, especially with the right parameter selection. They can be a non-invasive method, disabling hair structure without damaging surrounding dermis and epidermis. Simultaneously, large areas of hair follicles can be rapidly treated for maximum coverage. Our CoolGlide systems were the first Nd:YAG systems approved for use on all skin types, including tanned skin, allowing treatment of more patients. Independent control of pulse width and fluence effectively allows treatment on varying hair thicknesses including often difficult-to-treat finer hairs left by other systems.
SPIDER VEIN REMOVAL
Laser Leg Vein Reduction Leg veins that are unsightly, small, red and/or larger, blue-black spider veins can be treated simply, non invasively and successfully. Laser Vein Reduction is achieved by using IPL and the Nd: YAG1064 Laser where veins respond to the precise energy level and light wavelength. The laser’s small point travels through the skin, being immediately absorbed by the vein’s blood. Heat destroys the function of the vein without affecting surrounding tissue, and in time, the vein is absorbed by the body, disappearing from sight. Over several months, 2 to 5 treatments will achieve desired results, however, it may take 8 weeks for the “staining” and “bruising” to resolve. To minimize discomfort for this brief procedure, a chilled gel is used. No needles are used and the procedure may feel similar to the sting of a snapped rubber band.

The Titan Procedure is a safe, non-surgical process utilizing an infrared light source to tighten skin and reverse the signs of aging. ROSACEA TREATMENT
Rosacea, (rose-AY-sha) is a common facial skin disease that causes redness and swelling. Often referred to as "adult acne", Rosacea may begin as a tendency to flush or blush easily. Progressing to persistent redness in the center of the face, it may gradually involve the cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. It may also involve the ears, chest and back. As the disease progresses, small blood vessels and tiny pimples begin to appear on and around the reddened area; however, unlike acne, there are no blackheads.
BLU-U ACNE
Most acne treatments are 15-minute, twice weekly sessions under the BLU-U alone. No side effects exist with BLU-U and an approximate 50% reduction in papular-pustular acne lesions occurs. Another treatment option combines Levulan Kerastick with BLU-U therapy, involving an incubation period for the Levulan Kerastick and a BLU-U light session. Typically, this is a pain-free method with treatments repeated every 2-4 weeks. Most patients experience some redness and peeling for 3-7 days. Subsequent sessions may require longer incubation times depending on individual response and tolerance to redness and peeling.
PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY USING LEVULAN KERASTICK AND BLU-U
PhotoDynamic Therapy targets sun and age spots, clearing skin while also making it appear more evenly toned and youthful. PhotoDynamic Therapy (PDT), also known as ALA/PDT, is a treatment performed with a topical photosensitizing agent called Levulan that is applied to skin and then activated with light. These treatments remove sun damaged, precancerous spots and also improve sun damaged skin, fine lines, blotchy pigmentation and rough skin patches. PDT treatment uniquely minimizes pores and reduces oil glands - effectively treating stubborn acne vulgaris and rosacea, and improving the appearance of acne scars.
PHOTO FACIAL/IPL IPL – What is Intense Pulsed Light?
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology is a corrective treatment breakthrough that can treat a variety of benign skin imperfections. Typically, the effects of photoaging and skin damage are most visible on the face and body, making skin appear older. IPL is a safe, non-invasive solution for your skin type, providing superior cosmetic results and satisfaction. IPL is quick and easy. Cold gel is applied to the treatment area; then a small, smooth glass surface is gently placed on your skin. Pulsed light is applied and a slight sting may be felt. To avoid discomfort, an anesthetic cream may be applied. Optimally, a series of 5 treatments is recommended for maximum satisfaction and minimal side effects. This may be shortened with the use of a topical photosensitizing agent. With gradual improvement and very low risk, preserving “down time” is advantageous.
